The Two Retreat Add-Ons That Will Sell Out Your Retreat

Retreats are BIG in the Yoga Industry right now. They are so big that they are gravitating into outside industries such as Corporate and Wellness.

Even though retreats are BIG right now, some if not all retreat hosts still struggle to sell them out.

Do you want to know why?

Because they are forgetting (and also refusing) to include these two must-have add-ons.

1. Roundtrip Airport Shuttle
Your guests just got off a plane. They are jetlagged, tired, hungry, and more than likely lost because they have never been to your retreat center (even if you provided directions). Providing Roundtrip Airport Shuttle is not only easy to arrange, but it’s also a kindness to your guests. It also doesn’t have to be fancy.

Providing Roundtrip Airport Shuttle can look like:
Calling your guests an Uber
Hiring a few friends with cars to pick up and drop off your guests
Hiring a bus shuttle service or driver service

If you are uncomfortable with the price then include the shuttle service price with your retreat so everyone is happy and taken care of.

2. Serving Three Meals Per Day
I know, for some of us this is a no-brainer. However, as someone who has no skill in the kitchen, I could also understand why providing three meals let alone any meals could be stressful for a host. If cooking is not your specialty then you need to hire a Retreat Chef or host your retreat at a venue with a chef on-site who can take care of the meals. That way you can stick to teaching yoga while the chef cooks your guests three nourishing meals every day.

BONUS
Retreat Reviews are a MUST for your retreats. My suggestion is to take screenshots of your reviews across the platforms they are left on (Facebook, Google Business, TripAdvisor, or even a review you receive via email) and add these screenshots to your retreat listing. Reviews show new guests that you are real and that you provide a 5-star experience.

When we provide an all-inclusive experience for our retreat guests they will not only book our retreat, but they will come back for the next and maybe even bring friends.

When was a time that you attended a retreat that included the whole experience? How did you feel when the host took care of you from beginning to end?
